Spiritual Growth

We have a variety of opportunities and formats for spiritual growth, from weekly small group Bible studies to larger classes, individual study, and congregational instruction through our weekend messages in worship (which are also available on-line). Retreats for men and women are also held annually. Our classes may study books of the Bible, topics geared for spiritual growth, and practical guidance for living in today’s world. A basic Bible information course is offered several times throughout the year for people interested in learning more about the Bible and our teachings or for those interested in membership. Sunday classes are available for children (starting at age 3), youth, and adults. SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES: Sunday school classes for children of all ages, 3 to teen, as well as in-depth adult studies, are offered at 10:00 a.m. on the Apostles campus. Check the bulletin for classes currently in session. BIBLE CLASSES: Bible Information Classes: A free, 14-week course for people new to the teachings of the Bible or interested in an in-depth refresher course. Child care is provided. Catechism Classes: Classes for 7th and 8th grade students to prepare for Confirmation. These classes are to prepare students who attend schools other than Apostles. Men’s Morning Bible Study at 6:30 a.m. on Mondays. Women’s Morning Bible Study at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesdays. Small Group Bible Studies: Small groups meet regularly in the home of members of the congregation to study together and enjoy fellowship.
